Ronnie Souders  Comes Home with Best Finish Of Season

Beloit, Oh - Souders Motorsports made the journey to  South Boston Speedway for their fourth career start at the famed racetrack.  After a good practice session, Ronnie qualified 24th in the Farmer Bob’s Campground Chevrolet.  The 75 car got off to a good start passing two cars on the first lap of the race. A mistake early in the race sent Ronnie to the tail end of the longest line. By lap 79 he clawed his way up to third.  In order to maintain track position, the decision was made
to stay out. Unfortunately, that was a gamble that did not pay off.  The caution flag did not fly again until lap 197, allowing the crew to put gas in the car.  When the checkered flag fell, Ronnie was running in the fourteenth position.  “I had a lot of fun running up front with those guys, we just didn’t have the opportunity to improve on the car and stay up there. The handling really went away during that log green flag run, but I just hung on to it the best I could,’’ said the exhausted Souders.   SMS would like to thank all of their sponsors, Farmer Bob’s Campground, Ironclad Performance Wear, Harrison Performance Engines, Steve Downie Photography, EL2 Web Design, and Awesome Shirts and Signs, along with the help of Bullet Racing help make this season possible.  Up next for Ronnie is Bristol Motor Speedway for the North/South combination race.
