Souders Motorsports has
strong finish at Langley Speedway
Beloit, OH -
In the shadows of Langley Air Force Base, and with the sounds of
jets taking off, the Souders Motorsports team rolled the number
75 Chevy Impala SS off of the trailer. With high hopes coming
off of his first career top ten at SGMP, Ronnie Souders was
confident with the progress being made this season.
Practice was a little tough with a few significant changes to be
made, but the SMS crew was up to the challenge. Qualifying
didn’t go quite as anticipated, however, Ronnie would start the
race in 17th. The race was going good, until a radio issue
forced the 75 car to pit road, and on a small track like
Langley, it’s tough to get a radio change done without losing a
lap. The rest of the race was spent trying to gain back the
positions lost from that stop, and the checkered flag fell with
the Harrison Performance Engines, Auto Carpet Pros Chevy in 11th
position.
SMS would like to recognize Ironclad Performance Wear, Steve
Downie Photography, Rettig’s Industrial Supplies, and el2 Web
and Graphics Design for all of their support. Thanks also goes
to the fans, all of you help make this possible. Up next for
Souders Motorsports will be the high banks of Winchester
Speedway, in Winchester, Indiana. Look for a strong run from
Ronnie, as SMS will be getting some help from some long time
friends in Indiana. We hope to see all of you at the track!
